La Push Halibut Fishing
Halibut season for 2010 may be restricted to Thursdays and Saturdays. La Push has possibly the best Halibut fishing off of the Washington Coast. Contact Jay Hunter at 360-866-8693 for available dates as WDFW's seasons are unpredictable. Gear and bait are provided aboard the Snow Goose, a 23' Bayliner Trophy. The Snow Goose has a heated hard cabin and room to fish four. Radar, GPS, VHF, CB, Plotter and fish finder are standard equipment. Bring your Washington State Fishing License, Lunch, Beverages, Hat, Sunglasses, Camera, and Foul Weather gear. Have an ice chest in your car to put the halibut in when we return. Washington Outdoor Adventures offers Halibut charters for three to four anglers per day at $250 each. See the rates page. A 50% deposit is required for all charter reservations.
La Push Bottomfish Fishing La Push has multiple options for Bottomfish angling due to reefs, islands and underwater structures available. Many locations about a mile offshore offer the chance for light tackle action while near wildlife laden islands. The shallower water makes fishing easy and is fun for all. Sea Bass, Ling Cod, Cabezon and several other species are abundant. Gear is provided aboard the Snow Goose, a 23' Bayliner Trophy. The Snow Goose has a heated hard cabin and room to fish four.
