• Sept - Nov 2003   The Purse Seine fishery targets Pinks, Sockeye and Chum with incidental catches of Chinook and Coho.  The season extends down through Everett and Tacoma and winds up in the Hood Canal.  This experience is very educational for finding where salmon congregate throughout Washington and one gets to see a lot of fish and beautiful scenery.  *The photo of a very full net of Chum in Hood canal is not a typical catch.
