Captain Jay Hunter

Spring 2004 - Although Jay has owned and operated boats throughout Washington most of his life, both privately and professionally, he was not a United States Coast Guard (USCG) Captain. 

Jay attended the Seattle Maritime Academy in Ballard during spring 2004 for training towards the U.S. Coast Guard Captains License.  Jay was awarded a 50 Ton Masters License with a towing endorsement.  Being a licensed USCG Captain is required for all offshore saltwater charter activities.
